Living Healthy - Take Action before you have to!
We have all been in the situation where you HAVE to go to a doctor or specialist because a problem has worsened to the point where you need professional help. In most cases, preventative measures can completely extract the need of this individual. Let me quickly explain how taking a few preventive measures with your health can greatly help in the long run.
Eating Right -
Whenever we get on the "heath" kick, the first thing that comes to our mind is what we eat. As it should be. Eating the proper foods for your body type as well as daily regimen, is quite possibly one of the biggest factors of enjoying a long, healthy life. However, you don't need to turn into a granola and make sure everything that goes in your mouth is as close to pure air as possible. For most people, simply increasing your water intake, as well as the amount of fruits and vegetables you eat, can make a huge difference. Just always be aware of what it is your eating, as well as what benefits that food has for your body. If it takes you more than .5 second to determine if it's healthy or not, it's not.
Exercising -
This, just like eating right, is one of the easiest ways to impact your current health the greatest. Even a short jog once a week will put most people in a much better position physically than they currently are. An important part of exercising is stretching. A lot of ex-athletes find themselves taking multiple trips per week to a local Chiropractor because they did not the prep their body properly before intense workouts. Unless you want to see Dr. Wells every week, prep your body right! Warm- up, stretch, work-out, and cool down after.
Vitamins -
This is probably the most under-utilized way of helping your body. There is no way for you to give your body everything it needs, every single day. Vitamins can greatly increase your bodies intake of critical nutrients, which helps prevent deterioration as you age. Taking vitamins and minerals really is one of the easiest things to do when trying to keep your body running strong. It's a wonder to me why more people don't take 10 seconds a day, to add years of healthy living.
Follow these guidelines, and you will without a doubt improve the current state of your health, moreover; prevent costly issues in the future.

Quickie Cinnamon Rolls
Ingredients:- 8 ounces crescent roll dough, 8 roll tube
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon orange juice
- Unroll dough in one long rectangle and press to seal perforations.
- Combine cinnamon and sugar and sprinkle over dough.
- Roll up jelly roll style (like a log) starting from the short end and pinch seam to seal.
- Using a serrated knife slice into 4 equal slices. (I use unwaxed dental floss threading underneath the 'log' and then crossing the ends above the 'log'(floss makes an O around the dough, floss ends form a V) Pull ends to draw floss through to cut dough. Makes a cleaner cut).
- Place rolls pinched side down in un-greased muffin tin.
- Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes or until brown. Cool for 5 minutes then transfer to wire rack.
- Mix powdered sugar and orange juice to make a thin glaze. Drizzle over the warm rolls and serve.

Learning What Good Fats Men Need
When trying to lose weight or tone up your body, most men will attempt to cut all forms of fat out of their diets. They replace these fats with proteins and various carbohydrates. It is important to remember that our bodies need a certain amount of fat per day and depriving your body of these fats can have serious side effects. Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids for example, are needed for many of the brains functions as well as key elements of the male body, such as reproduction. A lot of people used to blame drugs such as steroids for the frequent results of erectile dysfunction when used by men, and while this was proven to be true, the lack of the proper fat levels also contributed to these results.Be sure to follow up with your physician before starting a new diet...
Before cutting fat out of your diet completely, you should speak with your physician and ask for any information he or she can provide you with concerning proper diet plans. A lot of men will try to supplement the vitamins and minerals their body needs by taking a dietary supplement of a one-a-day vitamin. While this can help our body in amazing ways, without the proper fat levels, your body will not be able to absorb all of the good vitamins and minerals you are attempt to put into it. Fat is one of the top three sources of energy for our body and it is also very important for protecting the organs of our bodies. It provides the body with a soft, insulating layer that helps regulate the temperature of the organ but also prevent damage or injury.

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
What is it:
The nerve that carries your brain’s messages to your hand travels from your forearm, through a tunnel formed by your wrist bones and into your hand. - Subluxations
Where it occurs:
Carpal tunnel syndrome symptoms occur in the wrist and hand, and affects the functioning of the hand and fingers. Many times the symptoms appear to be carpal tunnel syndrome, when it is really a neck problem. Alternatively, it is commonly misdiagnosed as a neck problem, when in fact it is carpal tunnel syndrome.Where it occurs:
Patients with carpal tunnel syndrome may experience:- Numbness in the hand or forearm

Relationship Massage Treatment for Couples
Benefits of Massage in Relationships
Massages have been used in numerous ways throughout modern society. They have been used to relieve pain and tension, as well as a form of therapy by physicians. They have become iconic symbols of relaxation throughout the world and can be employed by those who are highly trained and specialized, to those of us with no real experience. There are so many different elements to a massage that this form of relaxation can be used to achieve a large number of results.A healing and loving touch
A massage can be a great way for a couple to help each other relax after a long day. This activity can help couples minimize the amount of fighting or arguing they may end up enduring. It can also be used to show one another the amount of concern you have for one another. Massage can also be used to help initiate an intimate encounter with one another. The power of a loving massage and a relaxing environment can allow the imagination to run wild.Communication is key
It also allows couples to reconnect with one another on a deeper level. The ability to communicate and talk with one another is greatly increased, although the person who is receiving the massage may be a bit less talkative, than the one giving the massage. It also allows you the chance to understand more about the stress and tension that your partner endures on a regular basis. You can typically feel the tightened muscles or knots within the body during a massage, which may cause you to better understand and appreciate one another more.Monday, July 15, 2013
